Cutting edge shape
Cored Chisel
A special steel with high hardness is press-fitted into the tip of the point chisel to improve durability, making it suitable for crushing hard objects. Since there is less wear than a normal point chisel, the replacement cycle can be extended and an improved economic efficiency can be expected.
Point Chisel
A quadrangular pyramid with a pencil-shaped tip is called a moile point, and a conical one is called a cone point. It is a general chisel used for crushing concrete and rock. Since the tip is sharp, it is easy to pierce the object, and it can be crushed efficiently due to the wedge effect.
Flat chisel (one horizontal character / one vertical character)
A wedge-shaped object with a wedge-shaped tip is called a flat chisel. It has a large wedge effect and is suitable for relatively soft objects, and because of its shape, it is widely used for grooving, cutting sprues, and slope work.
Flat end chisel
A chopped chisel with a cylindrical tip. The flat tip shape makes it easy to catch objects, and is used for secondary crushing (small splits) of crushed stones and peeling work of slag.
Slit chisel (moile point)
By providing a slit-shaped groove at the tip of the chisel, crushed pieces can be easily discharged, and the chisel has excellent crushing efficiency. The unique shape increases the surface area of the heat treatment and improves the durability, and the excellent wear balance makes it a major feature that the sharp state is maintained even if it is shortened.
Slit Chisel (Flat)
